Vurgun Hunting Gun Industry was established by Hikmet Vurgun in the year 1979 and started its activity as Vurgun Ticaret (Vurgun Trade). During the years between 1979 and 2003, the company was active under management of Hikmet Vurgun in the markets of Turkey in general and especially in Istanbul. During these years, Vurgun Ticaret was able to lonely satisfy the needs of the Turkish market and to meet the demands of the Turkish exporters regarding foreign countries. In our opinion, the company has exhibited a successful management during these years when the commercial and economical conditions of the period and the insufficient support provided for the producers in our Country are taken into consideration.

At the end of this period, the management of Vurgun Ticaret was assumed by Uğur Vurgun and it has proceeded with its activities changing its name to Vurgun Hunting Materials İnşaat Otomotiv Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi. Under this new structure so established, the company has taken important steps towards the institutionalization and adopted a more professional management concept as a principle.

The company, the development conditions of which were prepared by its founder Hikmet Vurgun, continues to render service for the hunting, gun and defence industry with its policies based on the principles of moral, confidence and honesty without making any concession.

Today, the production range of the Company covers the products such as police handcuffs, pistol and gun cleaning apparatus and great scale of industrial brushes. This long-established company known by the Hunting and Gun sector continues to grow extending its product range every passing day.

Vurgun Av (Hunting) has determined its production goals as focused on the total quality understanding and the provision of customer satisfaction. In order to reach these goals, the company follows-up the technological developments and applies the same within the framework of the standards it has adopted. In the light of the foregoing, our most important task is to carry our Company to the international platforms, to market our licenced and registered products throughout the world and to make contribution to the industry of Turkey.
